The bass guitar, generously provided by my instructor. I knew I wanted to do SOMETHING with that large, white, ugly pickguard...

Paint-pouring is a really cool technique. Of course, there is no guarantee what you'll get at the end, thus every creation is one-of-a-kind. The result depends on how many colors you use, how you stack them, and how you pour. But I was happy with the result.
This was a six-color pour:
  • Cyan Blue
  • Cerulean Blue
  • Burnt Sienna
  • Metallic Black Pearl
  • Metallic Silver
  • White

The result! Not only is she fun to play, but she's PRETTY! I took some of the paint-skin from the pour and did some fun designs on the custom-distressed head-stock. I enjoy looking at the instrument just as much as I enjoy playing it.
